The BioMedical Engineer will prepare samples to be used in characterizing a novel fluorescence imaging platform. This platform can be customized to enable a unique performance/cost value proposition in a variety of biological, medical and pharmaceutical applications. The successful candidate will use the novel platform to analyze the biochemical samples they prepare, as well as perform any other complimentary analytical measurements. They will need extensive experience with hands on sample preparation and optics-based analytical techniques. The candidate will analyse the data from the novel system and complimentary data, present conclusions to the group, and participate in development of additional experimental plans.The candidate must be self-motivated, self-directed, data driven in the decision-making process and creative in problem solving.
